Bounded by Old Police Academy Road and Wong Chin Yoke Road, Mount Pleasant Crest comprises 4 residential blocks ranging from 40 to 46 storeys. The development includes 1,348 units of 2-room Flexi to 4-room flats, as well as 270 units of public rental flats. The project also offers the White Flat concept, giving homebuyers greater flexibility in configuring their living spaces.

Mount Pleasant Crest demonstrates how heritage is translated thoughtfully into a contemporary residential environment, through adaptive reuse, landscape and architectural design. Given the site’s history as Singapore’s first police academy, a collaborative Heritage Interpretation Plan with HDB guided how the area's history and identity would be woven into the new housing area. Drawing inspiration from the conserved buildings of the Old Police Academy (OPA), the design of Mount Pleasant Crest incorporates clay-coloured roofs, white-painted columns, louvred ventilation details, latticed panels, and archways reminiscent of tropical colonial architecture. Significant physical structures are also sensitively incorporated – steel trusses and columns from the Old Drill Shed will be re-used in the new precinct pavilion; while the swimming pool starter blocks will be repurposed as seating at the drop-off porch.

This attentive approach preserves the memory of the OPA while fostering a distinctive identity and strong sense of place for residents.
