Nestled along the southern coastline of Berlayar Creek, Berlayar Residences comprises 880 residential units and 200 public rental flats across 4 blocks with heights ranging from 19 to 46 storeys, while Berlayar Rise consists of 1,976 residential units across 6 blocks with heights of 33 to 49 storeys.

The residential blocks are carefully spaced out to feel open and airy, enabling visual and physical permeability across the development. The blocks are staggered and stepped down towards the waterfront, providing a visually interesting stepped skyline and allowing residents to enjoy scenic views of the greenery and waterfront.

Given the site's proximity to Southern Ridges, and its position at the convergence of three nature corridors, HDB worked closely with stakeholders to better understand the area's existing biodiversity and incorporate these considerations into the development plans. Sky gardens and rooftop landscapes were introduced to bring residents closer to nature. Echoing the natural surroundings, social communal amenities such as playgrounds take on nature-inspired forms and are seamlessly interwoven with biodiversity-themed play elements.
